2. Scope of Services
RenovAlgarve provides renovation, remodelling, painting, waterproofing and construction services in the Algarve region, Portugal. Services include, but are not limited to:
- Full renovation of apartments and villas
- Kitchen and bathroom remodelling
- Interior and exterior painting
- Waterproofing
- Outdoor spaces and landscaping
- Maintenance and repair works
3. Quotes and Proposals
All quotes provided by RenovAlgarve are free of charge and without obligation. Quotes are valid for a period of 30 (thirty) days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated.
Quotes are prepared based on information provided by the client and the technical site visit. Any changes to the scope of work requested after acceptance of the quote may result in adjustments to the initially proposed price and timeline.
Formal acceptance of the quote by the client, in writing or electronically, constitutes a binding agreement between the parties.
4. Prices and Payments
Prices stated in quotes include labour and materials, unless expressly stated otherwise. All amounts are presented with VAT included at the applicable legal rate.
Payment is made in stages, as agreed in the service contract:
- Deposit upon contract signing (percentage to be defined by contract)
- Interim payments according to work progress
- Final payment upon completion and acceptance of works
Accepted payment methods: bank transfer, MB Way, Multibanco and staged payment.
5. Execution Deadlines
Execution deadlines are established in the service contract and contractually guaranteed. Delays caused by force majeure, adverse weather conditions, third-party material delivery delays, or changes requested by the client are not the responsibility of RenovAlgarve.
Any changes to deadlines will be communicated to the client as far in advance as possible.
6. Warranties
RenovAlgarve guarantees the quality of completed works under the following terms:
- 5 (five) year warranty for structural defects, in accordance with applicable legislation
- 2 (two) year warranty for finishes and installed equipment
- Manufacturer warranties for materials and equipment used
Warranties do not cover damage resulting from improper use, lack of maintenance, alterations made by third parties, or natural wear and tear.
7. Liability
RenovAlgarve holds professional civil liability insurance. The company is liable for any damage caused during the execution of works, provided it is demonstrably the result of action or omission by its workers or subcontractors.
The client is responsible for ensuring access to the work site under agreed conditions and for providing correct and complete information about the property, including any pre-existing structural issues.
8. Cancellation
The client may cancel the contract at any time before the commencement of works, by written notice. In such case:
- If cancellation occurs within 14 days of signing the contract (cooling-off period), the deposit will be refunded in full
- After the cooling-off period, the deposit may be retained to cover preparation costs, material orders and other expenses already incurred
After the commencement of works, cancellation requires payment for work already completed and materials already purchased.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the website www.renovalgarve.pt, including text, images, logos, design and code, is the property of Perímetro Basilar Construções Unipessoal Lda and is protected by applicable intellectual property legislation.
Reproduction, distribution or use of any content without prior written authorisation is expressly prohibited.
10. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, the parties undertake to seek an amicable resolution. If this is not possible, the client may resort to the alternative dispute resolution mechanisms available in Portugal, namely consumer arbitration centres.

11. Applicable Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese law. For the resolution of any disputes arising from the interpretation or execution of these terms, the courts of the District of Portimão shall have exclusive jurisdiction, with express waiver of any other.
